Kumihimo
Kumihimo is the ancient form of Japanese braiding that has been used to decorate kimonos and obis for centuries. Each strand of a braid is hand strung and braided by Still Path Designs. A braid can be eight or more strands and consist of hand dyed silk cord, beads, yarn, metallic thread or a variety of many different materials. This is what gives each necklace or bracelet its vibrancy and texture.
