Coral, Shell and Bone
This collection is created with a variety of pieces from all over the world. Abalone is known for being exceptionally strong because of how the creature generates its shell. Dentalium shells come from the Philippines and are white or green. Some can be extremely long and are perfect for finishing a necklace. Bone and horn are usually imported from Asia in a variety of sizes, shapes and color. Kazuri beads are created painstakingly by a cottage industry of Kenyan women who would not otherwise have jobs. Kazuri is the Swahili word for small and beautiful.
